In a plastic case measuring approximately 63mm is this vintage Breitling Sprint stop watch featuring its original yellow lanyard and sticker on caseback.

Rumour holds that these stopwatch models were dumped on the market after being found in the Breitling factory in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s after new ownership of the manufacturer was completed. The production date is estimated to be somewhat earlier in the 1960’s.

This device is not being sold as a tested precision instrument but rather as a ‘nice old thing’. It runs, appears to keep time, and starts, stops and resets reliably. Beyond that I can only hope the potential future owner appreciates this as the nice old thing that it is, and recognises it as priced according to that description.
